What is iSys Label Recommended Media?
A beautiful label reflects the quality of your product and sets you apart from competitors. Whether you’re an in-plant or commercial printer, it is important to know and understand the different substrates available for your digital label printer in order to make your product stand out from the rest. iSys Label has recognizes this need and provides a variety of approved substrates to ensure the best quality image print after print.
This includes:
- Papers – matte, semi gloss, and high gloss papers, fluorescent papers, textured wine stocks, tag stocks, and paper based foils
- Plastics – Clear and white variations of polyester, vinyl, and BOPP
- Specialty items such as Teslins, piggyback substrates, magnetic materials
Our Recommended Media Library includes a variety of unique substrates that have been rigorously tested to ensure reliability and consistency, optimal print quality and provide the ease of use that will perform to the customers' highest expectations. iSys Label is not responsible for damage or consequences arising from the use of non-recommended media or consumables.

UPM Raflatac
The pace of the digital labeling and packaging market is increasing at a substantial rate. iSys Label and UPM Raflatac have teamed up to provide end users and label stock converters with standard and digital print-on-demand substrate solutions that increase operational flexibility while ensuring the highest of quality for their label and packaging needs. Approved paper and plastic label stocks have been carefully selected to provide the highest-quality resolution when printed on iSys Label’s LED toner-based digital label printers.

iSys Label is Going Green
Here at iSys Label we recognize the importance of being an environmentally friendly organization. In today’s world it is evident that our natural resources are depleting at an astonishing pace. iSys Label’s goal is to actively engage in sustainable practices to maintain and replenish our environment for healthy future generations. For this reason, we are expanding our principles of sustainability into each of our business decisions. These subsidiary measures ensure that all processes, products and manufacturing activities adequately address current environmental concerns.
In our goal towards sustainable corporate practices, we’ve been focusing on iSys’s ability to change its products and services towards less waste production and the recycling of materials used in daily processes. For this reason we have incorporated the iSys Media Recycling Program. This program is designed to allow users to send empty toner cartridges or drums to either one of our central locations, and iSys will recycle the used products for no additional costs.
In addition to our recycling program, we’ve been actively seeking partners and suppliers who share the same green vision. UPM Raflatac, our primary media supplier, has worked to reduce waste in all stages of the product life cycle, from raw material sourcing to final end use and disposal. All steps are taken to ensure that paper raw materials originate from responsibly-managed, legally logged forests and end users can be assured of the organizations commitment to the environment.
With changes to our current business decisions, iSys aims to conserve resources and take the steps needed to secure the well-being of the environment for the generations to come.
